The need to have a standard and accepted way of going about your business as a GAP provider is imperative, especially if you operate across different regions. If there is not a standard way of operating, it is inevitable that one Regional Office will go about processes differently to the next. MATE ensures the provision of rigour and consistency to Group Apprenticeship Program processes and procedures, as the required workflows are contained within the system, essentially telling the Field Officer what needs to happen next. This takes the guess work out of what we do and ensures everyone goes about tasks in the same way.

The checks and balances built within the system also means that the GAP staff must conduct certain tasks and obtain approvals where necessary before they can progress the task in the system.
