 MATE Job Matching

Tracking job vacancies and providing a sophisticated job matching process is an integral component of MATE. It is becoming increasingly important to ensure there is value in the recruitment service we provide and that the people we refer to host employers are genuinely suited to the vacancy based on set criteria.

The job match function provides the following:

  • A list of candidates who match the criteria for the position who have listed that job as a preference
  • Candidates are ranked in the list, with the candidates most closely matching the criteria appearing first in the list
  • The ability to click on the name of the candidate and a new screen appears with their details
  • The ability to print the details of each candidate as you view their files
  • The ability to shortlist candidates (those who you wish to send on to the host for interview)
  • A rigorous process that must be followed by Field Officers, obtaining required documentation etc as part of this.
  • A checklist once the successful candidate has accepted a job offer outlining all the steps that must be taken (such as induction, sign up paperwork completed etc) before they can commence with the host. These in built checks and balances means that processes must be followed, ensuring best practice and minimising the margin for error and GTO breaches of legislation or responsibility under the training contract requirements.

An example of a screen showing results from the job match is as follows:
