MATE Continuous improvement requirements
The MATE system is adaptable to allow for the capture of required changes over time (such as legislative or funding changes that need to be reflected in the software) as well as the specific needs of other GAP providers. MATE can be customised to accommodate required changes and capture organisational specific information.
As internal GAP processes are reviewed and improved, these changes are easily reflected in MATE. Likewise, as training packages are reviewed and apprenticeship qualifications updated or changed, these changes are made within the system.
Currently continuous improvement processes that are being integrated into MATE are as follows:
- The capture of workers compensation information and tracking of all relevant information regarding injuries. This information will only be available to particular users to adhere to privacy requirements. The production of reports stemming from the information captured here will be extremely useful (such as the most common injury by trade, year of apprenticeship etc) and can form part of our induction and reinduction of apprentices and trainees.
- The capture of information regarding incentive claims. We are improving this section of MATE to make more user friendly and provide required information more easily.
- Online registrations are currently able to be utilised and integrated into MATE. This customisation can occur at any stage for your organisation.
- The addition of the capture of additional incentives such as TFYT, wage top-ups etc. This will enable the GAP provider to track and chase eligible incentives for their apprentices and trainees.
