MATE Compliance with Group Training National Standards (Aust)
Through using a system that implements a ‘supervision plan’ that complies with Australian National Standards, records all relevant data, tracks the history via file notes for apprentices, trainees and hosts, contains all documentation used with GAP process and in summary captures all facets of the business; compliance with National Standards occurs naturally through the real time and consistent use of the system by GAP staff.
In support of the above claims, CWGA recently had an audit against National Standards. No documentation was provided during the audit, as rather than supply documentation as evidence; we took the auditors through our MATE system, which covered 95% of what they needed to see. This as you can imagine made the process much easier for all involved, and virtually no preparation was needed on our behalf as we were genuinely compliant through the use of the MATE system.
