 MATE Auto populated diary

MATE provides Group Training staff with a ‘diary’ to plan and organise their workload. The auto populated visits occurring in the diary ensures proactive visits occur and are maintained with each and every person in their caseload, reducing the reactive nature of visits through alleviating potential problems as early as possible in the process.

The diary function in MATE provides the following:

  • Group Training staff compliance to the ‘supervision plan’. This ensures that the 80/20 rule is reversed. That is 80% of our time is not spent on the problem apprentices and trainees and 20% on the ones that are actually going well. The supervision plan is a series of pre-populated appointments that occur in a Field Officers diary every time someone is activated. The supervision plan is also tailored to ensure compliance to the Group Training National Standards.
  • From the diary the user can view all the hosts, apprentices and trainees in their caseload as well as the jobs they are working on and the applicants and candidates in their Regional Office
  • The KPI report tab can be accessed from the diary. This gives the Field Officer a snapshot of all those they have on notice, OOT or suspended as well as their cancellations, placements, job vacancies and completions. Quite simply they can see if their caseload is growing or shrinking at that point in time in the month. It does serve to focus the mind on the priorities of the job.
  • The ability to manage their entire workload using the one software system
